It was a good run, but Christian Life Preparatory unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool Warriors. Christian Life Preparatory was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool apparently hadn’t forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2023.

Caleb Turner put in work no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching an inning while giving up no earned runs or hits (he also didn’t allow any walks). Turner was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-4.

Turner wasn’t the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Garrett Donaho, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

On Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool’s side, Jude Webb was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and a triple. Another player making a difference was Cooper Stone, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Christian Life Preparatory’s loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-4. As for Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool, their victory bumped their record up to 5-7.

Christian Life Preparatory will head out on the road to face off against Nazarene Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool, they will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Non Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they’ve averaged 7 runs per game this season.
