School bus crashes into mobile home in Greenville Co.

GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – A school bus crashed into a mobile home Monday morning in Greenville County.

According to Greenville County Schools, the school bus ran into a mobile home on Stamey Valley Road. The bus driver has been cited with driving too fast for conditions.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol said the bus was traveling west on Stamey Valley Road when it traveled off the right side of the road, overcorrected and crossed over both lanes of traffic on the left side of the road, hitting a mailbox, fence and the mobile home.

Officials said two students were on board the bus at the time of the crash, but no injuries were reported. The mobile home was vacant at the time of the crash.
